Our work

The objectives of Ipas Europe are to:

• promote and ensure reproductive justice, including but not limited to abortion rights and access, using a comprehensive approach focused on health, legal, and social systems;
• promote and ensure sexual and reproductive health and full bodily autonomy;
• promote and ensure gender equity and women’s rights;
• build resilient abortion and contraceptive ecosystems using a comprehensive approach across sectors, institutions, and communities;
• promote and ensure access to comprehensive information related to reproductive justice, sexual and reproductive health and rights, bodily autonomy, and gender equity.

How We Work

Ipas Europe accomplishes its objectives by:

• Collaborating and engaging in partnerships and coalitions with like-minded organizations in the Netherlands and other European countries, including the United Kingdom
• Identifying and cultivating new donors to achieve our mission
• Working in collaboration with the members of the Ipas network globally
• Supporting donor organizations, partners and other stakeholders with reproductive justice strategies and programs
• Advocating for increased attention and funding in the reproductive justice area
• Sharing evidence, best practices, and quality standards in sexual and reproductive health and rights
• Strengthening the capacity of stakeholders to advance reproductive justice, including through sharing information, providing resources, training, and mentoring
• Conducting public educational events, including working with media organizations

Where We Work

Ipas Europe works with partners in the Netherlands, across the European Union and within the United Kingdom. We also support programming around the globe with a focus in the areas below.
